Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon with Stuffed Double Baked Potato

The filet is the most tender and lean of all the steak cuts. Every filet at Toro Loco Steak House Restaurants is centre cut and wrapped in our smoked bacon to ensure succulent flavour.

Filet is derived from the least hardworking muscle which provides for a texture that our guests enjoy.

Below is a photo and video our Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon with our Double Baked Stuffed Potato and Chimchurri Sauce.

You can find the Filet Mignon on our Steak Menu here and the Stuffed Baked Potato is a side option along with others choices available.

What is special about filet mignon?
Filet Mignon is extremely tender because it comes from a muscle called the tenderloin that cows rarely use. Tenderloin only makes for 1% of the total percentage of the carcass. That makes Filet Mignon very rare, and therefore more expensive. Not all Filet Mignons are the same.
